My name is Emma R. and I've been reading John Norman's Gor books since I was a teenager. These are my own humble attempts to add to the long running Gorean cycle. I hope you enjoy them.

Ta-Sardar-Gor, as the saying goes. :)

  6. Tal Emma,

I have one small suggestion. Since 'Emma of Gor' ceased to be a trilogy some time ago, why not refer to it as The Emma of Gor Saga?

    1. I get that suggestion quite often, Master. I left it as a ‘trilogy’ in homage to the way Douglas Adams kept referring to the Hitch hiker book ‘trilogy’ after it went to five books or more... :)

      Quite right.

      Thanks for all the fish.

Plus 2000AD did not change its name nor did 1984 when time caught up with the title.

    3. Tal Emma,

Fair enough. By the way, I love the Douglas Adams books. I would also recommend "And Another Thing..." by Eoin Colfer. It's a wonderful sixth installment to the Hitchhiker's Guide series.

I just re-read some of the early chapters of 'Shadows of Gor'....really really impressive.

I think your work is far far better than the original works I really do....far more humour like the 3/4 Musketeers movies with Michael York and Richard Chambetlain (God those guys had great cheek bones).

If I could send you finest paga and a box of baklava I would. xxx ;-)

You'll always be 1st Girl for those of us reading this blog.

  9. eu gosto muito das cores e padrões dessas saias e o comprimento é justo. Você tem um bom olho para a moda de escravas. Notei que Saffron ainda não recebeu um corte de cabelo mais curto como emma

  10. Emma, trust that all is well with you and Chloe. This is the beginning of June 2022, with no updates for the merry month of May. Enjoy your stories and Chloe's artwork😊🤗. Admit that I am having withdrawal symptoms 🤗.

I have very much enjoyed this blog. You hardly need any suggestions as to subjects for your writing but have you considered one from the point of view of a kajirus?

Your profile says you don't have much time these days for role play but if at some point you do, come visit Tharna PoD.

    1. Hopefully acteaon had a pleasant surprise when I did indeed turn up unexpectedly (in character) in the PoD Gor world to say hello. 😊 He didn’t know who I was to begin with, despite my avatar pic with Chloe’s art and ‘property of Brinn of the Sardar’ in the tag line below my name! I am very familiar with ‘Portal of Dreams’ (PoD) as I did use to (real time) role-play there many years ago, along with one or two other sites. I’m still a member of the message board. Anyway, nice to see and chat with you for a while, kajirus.

And, yes, a lot of readers have asked for a ‘Kajirus of Gor’ book. I do intend writing one before too long.

Emma, To my shame, I have only just come upon your website, and am overwhelmed. Whilst I write a little Gor Fanfic myself, your output is staggering, But where does one start? Is there a timeline to your stories, or even a publication time-list. For example I note in the first chapter of Ubara of Gor, a reference to the the Larl of Thassa. Where then does one best start reading your work for maximum effect?

    1. Tal Pauline! Welcome to the blog and the Emmaverse found here. You asked about a story timeline. On the top of this page under the cover art, is a list of books and stories. Start with #0 Daughter of Gor by Olga Turlovna. Then proceed to Emma’s wonderful works of 1 and 2 and so forth. Soon, you will be addicted like the rest of us, devouring every post.

Emma is currently on a bit of a publishing break. Hopefully she will return to writing and posting soon.

Is your work posted anywhere that you can share with us to read?

  18. I know your secret Emma. They say that a person's first story is essentially autobiographical if one reads between the lines. Am reading your early work Mistress of Gor. You know too much about the minutiae and thought processes of transvestites. By the same reasoning, I recognise this. Greetings Sister!

  19. With great sadness, I must inform our group that ORIGINALDUCK, has passed away. He was an older man who died of natural causes. He loved Emma’s work and was a devoted fan for many years. His enthusiasm and commentary will be missed.

    1. I have completed several chapters and continue writing. Emma is the one who posts them, at her discretion. My goal is to complete the tale, in what is now becoming a ‘book’, something I never imagined would happen when I became inspired by Emma to begin writing. Thank you for asking!

  25. greetings Emma. how are you? If you wish not to write anymore this is ok and absolutely your choice. But for your fans it would be nice if you do not just disappear, but leave a proper goodbye and a message that you are well. this would have style. just ghosting us has none.

  26. I’m taking a moment to step out of character here – hence the absence of ‘Master this’ and ‘Mistress that’ courtesies – to reply to the reproof that seems to be implied here.

Emma is a wonderfully talented writer who has, for many years, been kind enough to share her gifts with this little community. We are all beneficiaries of the time she’s devoted to this blog. She in turn gains the satisfaction that comes to any writer when they look over their body of work and recognise that they’ve produced (as she consistently has) something good.

But I think it’s important for everyone here – particularly those of us less gifted with patience – to come to terms with the fact that Emma OWES us nothing. Not the next chapter of whatever, and certainly not an explanation. She is a real person with a real life to live. She has on other occasions offered explanations for lengthy absences (and the present hiatus is hardly the lengthiest we have seen), but that does not mean we are entitled to such.

To suggest that she is somehow doing us a disservice or a discourtesy by not responding to all the ‘when will the next chapter be written’ clamor is rather pretentious. Emma will return when it suits her to do so, and when she does, I hope she’ll find welcoming smiles in place of petulant scolding.

    2. I also agree. If there's new material from Emma then great. Otherwise I'll continue to reread what exists and enjoy myself. And as you say this isn't the longest length of time between posts.

    3. If circumstances had caused Emma to hang up her pen, we have several other authors like Tracker, Arizona Wanderer, Pipa to fill the void Could not we post content from these authors ? I would love to hear updated accounts of the twins and their mysterious uncle and their connection to Gor

  27. I fear that Emma is not well. Or worse. I do so hope that I am wrong. A great many people are suffering all manner of illnesses and sudden deaths since the jabbings began. OFCOM has a block on reporting the deaths & illnesses and, bluntly, most of the mainstream media & politicians are complicit in pushing the shots on the population so the last thing they want to do is draw attention to what is happening. A great evil has been done to billions, pushed by a billionaire who made himself and his now ex-wife an even bigger fortune from the jabs, and who openly has talked about wanting just 500 million people on the planet.
