Gor has a rich language and background
and it can sometimes be difficult to remember what it all means. I
mean, even I do!
This then is a dictionary of words and
phrases that frequently appeared in the books by John Norman. It can
be considered the 'official' Gorean language 'by the books'. I use
some made up words of my own from time to time to expand the language
and these I will catalogue separately to distinguish them from
Norman's canonical terms. Credit where credit is due, this isn't my
own work but rather a list of words and terms put together by the
'City of Jasmine' website. The internet is notoriously fickle and
websites disappear from time to time so I'm preserving the catalogue
here for posterity. There may well be omissions. If you can think of
anything significant not included let me know and I'll create my own
entry.
