Boo!

Okay, so it’s been a longer break than I originally intended…

I am the kajira of understatement at times! Frankly, I’m astonished you’ve all still been logging on, re-reading past stories and patiently waiting with a patience that Gorean men rarely show with kajirae. The 'views' counter has notched up nearly two million views which is remarkable, considering I do nothing at all to promote this site.

You can expect some new chapters beginning next week, though I think I have to re-read my earlier chapters to remember all the intricacies before I tap away on anything new!

I currently have four books in an unfinished state, so I’m going to knuckle down and concentrate on finishing each of them in turn. I’m probably going to begin with finishing the Roland trilogy (Barbarian of Gor), then do the same with The Shadow in the Dark, and then go back to Beware the Savage Jaw, before finally concluding Cassandra’s book, Secrets of Gor. That, and I need to remember how to format things on Blogger! It's easy to forget when I've been away for a year...

There are probably some feedback comments to catch up on, too, so I’ll take a look at those soon. ðŸ˜Š

State of the Nation August 2023!

Hello lovely readers.

Apologies for my recent absence. While the long term readers know I routinely take a bit of time off now and again, the circumstances this time around were a bit different.

I did decide to take a few weeks off after Christmas/New Year, and as always once I stopped writing for a while it grew to about three months. Not my worst absence, but I decided then to get cracking with finishing Outcast of Gor and posting the final chapters I’d received from Tracker and Arizona Wanderer.

Only… no sooner had I begun than I finally came down with Covid. Yes, I’d been spared it up to that point. The Covid itself wasn’t too bad, but I seem to have what’s commonly referred to as ‘Long Covid’ following my bout with the virus. This has left me very drained – a bit like suffering from ME, I suppose, and it very much affected my ability to get much done. I had just about enough energy to deal with the day job, but not much else. I’m still suffering from the after effects, though in recent weeks have been a bit more clear headed, hence why I’ve kick started the next book, but I confess I’m writing slower than before, when I routinely knocked off a chapter a day in-between meals.

Merry Christmas to all my lovely readers!

It’s that time of year again!

I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. My best laid plans were to complete Outcast of Gor in time for the Christmas break (just two chapters remaining) but alas I have been so busy these last few days that I’ve only got two thirds of the way through chapter thirty nine, despite my best intentions.

The run up to Christmas this year has been more frantic than usual and I’m now resigned to finishing of that book in the Christmas to New Year period.

State of the Union address

Hello, lovely readers, or should I say Tal?

I thought I’d talk a little bit about what I have planned, going forward, in terms of writing.

Steel World Inc only has three more chapters, with chapter 28 being the final one, so that’s nearly done and dusted.

Chloe is obviously working on the Secrets of Gor book, chapter by chapter, and we’re getting close to the halfway point there, so that will run for quite some time yet. Following Secrets of Gor I intend to turn my attention finally to the long delayed ‘Gods of Gor’ – the sixth book narrated pov by Emma.

Yay!

Inspiration

One of the main inspirations for writing a Panther Girl novel (I don't really count 'Panther Girl of Gor' as that was only nominally involving the panther girls) is a series of pictures that used to exist on the Deviant Art site by 'tasastock'.

A work in progress

I tend to keep notebooks full of things that I may or may not develop, but one of the things that is taking shape and you may see sometime soon is a novel set around a Panther Girl tribe in the northern forests.
