Boo!

Okay, so it’s been a longer break than I originally intended…

I am the kajira of understatement at times! Frankly, I’m astonished you’ve all still been logging on, re-reading past stories and patiently waiting with a patience that Gorean men rarely show with kajirae. The 'views' counter has notched up nearly two million views which is remarkable, considering I do nothing at all to promote this site.

You can expect some new chapters beginning next week, though I think I have to re-read my earlier chapters to remember all the intricacies before I tap away on anything new!

I currently have four books in an unfinished state, so I’m going to knuckle down and concentrate on finishing each of them in turn. I’m probably going to begin with finishing the Roland trilogy (Barbarian of Gor), then do the same with The Shadow in the Dark, and then go back to Beware the Savage Jaw, before finally concluding Cassandra’s book, Secrets of Gor. That, and I need to remember how to format things on Blogger! It's easy to forget when I've been away for a year...

There are probably some feedback comments to catch up on, too, so I’ll take a look at those soon. 😊

    2. Hi Emma! Yes, I'm well, but super busy. I just sent you an email with some (maybe) important news. Delighted to see you back here. :-)

  2. Emma:

Welcome back! I came to your site in July.

    1. Emma:

      (1) You only left First Girl of Gor (Part One of Two) with Lady Donna and Chloe being taken up the Sardar Mountains into the Priest Kings Lair.

      (2) The activity on Tracker ‘s and Paladin’s site has exploded. Tracker has published six chapters of The Paga Diaries; Black Beauty (8 chapters) and five chapters of Verna’s Journey by AuntiePArm.

    2. Emma:

AuntiePArm in Tracker’s blog is Pauline Armitage in the comments to your Introduction. She has a pen name and at least two blogger accounts.

    3. Tal Vyeh, and a big warm welcome to our corner of Gor. 😊 Big hugs if you’re a chain-sis. I’m guessing you’re a kajira, and not a noble free woman (from the lower capitalisation of your name at least which was always very much an online thing to tell slaves and free apart). You’re absolutely right about First Girl of Gor – that one slipped my mind for some reason. So, yes, five books to conclude before I launch anything new! My biggest problem is that I always have too many ideas at once and it’s far too tempting to explore new ideas while they’re still fresh in my creative mind.

I’m really pleased that Tracker and Paladin have been writing in my absence, and proud as punch that they feel influence din any way by my take on Gor. I have a lot of catching up to do, it seems. 😊

  3. Yay, Emma. I had almost given up hope of your return!
In the meantime, I got Stories by Tracker rolling. In addition to publishing six chapters of the Paga Diaries and am today concluding the 2nd cycle of stories by AuntiePArm, I have completed Banks of the Bighorn, and Beyond the Bighorn, and have started on Tales of Drysdale House. So glad you are back. (There are also some stories of that lovable rogue Scipio Metellus, Slaver of Ko-ro-ba. Looking forward to reading more of your stories soon.

    1. After the Bighorn contains more action with Chelsea Frick, going into more why she wanted to go to Gor.

    2. Given up on my return? O’ ye of little faith, Master. I have always said that if the day comes when I decide to shut up shop (so to speak) I’ll always let people know rather than walk away permanently without a word. If you don’t hear form me for months (okay, many months in this case…) then that means I will always be back. 😊 I shall check out your site ASAP. Thank you for keeping the Gorean flame burning in my absence, Master.

  4. Welcome back Emma, you have been missed. I checked back every couple days to see if there had been anything new here.

Like Tracker, I have ventured into doing more writing and posting them on my blog. I would love to hear your thoughts on what I have done and got planned in the future. https://paladenofgor.blogspot.com/

Looking forward to reading how you wrap things up with Roland and his party.

    Once again, welcome back

  5. I am quite shocked by the view count as well, although I already assumed as much given how much engagement this blog receives despite Emma’s absence.

So I'd like to ask. How did everybody else find this website?

Me personally, based on some of the comments I read, I can probably hazard a guess I am probably on the slightly younger side of this community. I didn't really have much Gor exposure up until the point where I managed to stumble upon Olga's "Daughter of Gor" by chance, which story managed to hook me beyond the smut. Which eventually naturally lead me over to Emma’s site and I’ve been addicted since!

      (1) I wasn’t happy with the Amazon preview of “Treasure of Gor.” I googled “Gor fan fiction” and recognized “Emma of Gor” from Deviant Art. I landed on Emma’s introduction and found “Daughter of Gor” on Fiction Mania. I was blown away by the writing and Emma’s comments.

      (2) I read Emma’s trilogy on Fiction Mania. The comments from the readers were engaging. I recommend you read Olga Turlovna’s other stories on Fiction Mania.

      (3) I recommend you check out Stories by Tracker and Paladin’s Tales and Stories. Tracker’s Scipio Metellus and Paladin’s Lady Regenta are great characters as vivid as Aurore and Emma. Unfortunately, you will need a Google account to access Tracker’s and Paladin’s sites.

    4. Welcome back Emma!

Sorry to hear about Tavern Keeper going down. I hope your group has found a new place to keep RPing.

    5. Yes, Master, everyone can thank Olga for her original Heart of Darkness inspired Gorean novel for kick starting the whole Emmaverse. I really wish she’d write more in the Gor setting, but she seems content with one novel and one short story and then left me to carry the flame, so to speak. Honestly, you wouldn’t have any of my books if it wasn’t for Olga’s Daughter of Gor.

  6. Welcome back Emma!

I was worried that something serious had happened to you. Like being kidnapped by aliens (again).

  7. Great to have you back Emma!

I figured maybe some lucky new master had acquired you and kept you so busy that you had no time to write. Hopefully he hasn’t spoiled you with too much baklava.
