NEW! The Tales of Gor RPG adventure - Rosalita of Telnus (part seven)
“Please sister, will you bring up the food and wine from the courtyard in a bit? I think I'm going to need to refresh myself," you say as you tighten your grip on Michelle's leash once more.
“Yes, Rosalita.” Rosanna glances at Michelle and then back at you with a respectful nod of her head, for social customs dictates that she acknowledges your authority as head of the family. She takes a couple of steps towards the courtyard but dawdles as best she can without being too obvious in doing so, for she is interested in seeing what you intend doing next. Your sister is even more curious than the average kajira, and the average kajira of course is a very curious animal indeed.

Merry Christmas to all our readers!
It's a Monday, so normally there would
be a new chapter of Shadows of Gor waiting for you, but of course
this is no ordinary Monday - it's Christmas Day - and on Christmas
Day even slave-girls deserve some time off. Shadows of Gor is
therefore enjoying a one week 'mid season' break for the festive
period and the serialisation will continue again in a week's time
through to its conclusion.
On behalf of chloeK and myself, we'd
like to thank you for following this blog throughout the year, and to
wish you a very Merry Christmas. I hope you've woken up this morning
to some fabulous presents and you still have a great day ahead of
you.
We'll leave you then with a picture of
Rachel's ideal 'fantasy' Christmas morning: waking up all drowsy and
semi-aroused in her soft bed, finding her wrists secured to the
headboard by Emma.
I'm sure you can imagine what happens
next. :)

NEW! Glad Tidings of Comfort and Joy part three (of three)
Boston USA - December 24th 2023, early evening
An hour or two later I stood in the shower for several minutes feeling the hot water spray against my skin. I closed my eyes, leaned back my head and enjoyed the moment for what it was – an escape from the pressure and stress of my life these days. I closed my eyes and I ran my hands over my wet body, feeling myself, the way Emma’s experienced hands had felt me in the Northern forest all those years ago after Brinn had whipped us both and we had lain together and made love that one time. I remembered how good she felt, and how intense my orgasm had been when she had put her mouth to my vagina, licking and kissing and driving me to heights of guilty bliss. She was a trained pleasure slave after all. An amazing pleasure slave. You have no idea what she can do to you in bed. I had never felt anything like it before. I felt the brand on my left hip – a permanent reminder of my last days on Gor – a mark that I would wear on my body for the rest of my life.

NEW! Glad Tidings of Comfort and Joy part one (of three)
A 36,000 word novella set on Christmas Eve in 2023. Six years ago Rachel Evans woke up in a field on Earth, naked and alone after the events depicted in 'Panther Girl of Gor'. This is her story.
“Eyes right because I think we have a pair of militant dykes causing trouble tonight,” said Adam Coulter as he clipped the end of his cigar before lighting it. That was another thing that had changed recently – no more smoking bans in public spaces. Who would have thought it? Mind you, the smoking ban had been just one of a number of surprising developments I hadn’t expected when I found myself waking up on the grass in a meadow in the New Forest six years ago. So much had changed in western society since I’d been at university in the mid seventies.
“They’re in for a shock if they think anyone’s going to put up with their arrogant behaviour tonight,” said Robert Winston. Both men wore well tailored dark suits with colourful silk ties and they looked like men who scented change in the wind and approved of it 100%.

Shadows of Gor Chapter Eleven (of Eighteen)
Chapter Eleven: The Chamber of Submission
“Behold, the so-called dominant male of Gor, on his knees, in a woman's chains, at your mercy, as it should be and as it will be in the New World that we craft from the old.”
The Silver Masked Domina's voice echoed in the great hall as she pointed to the centre of an elaborately ornate circle inscribed with occult glyphs and symbols. There were two heavy iron rings fixed into the cemented flagstones from which two heavy iron chains extended to the neck collars worn by two strong looking men. Both men were naked, and the length of the chains was such that they could not stand, or even rise much above a kneeling position. Their wrists were confined in close chains, maybe two inches apart, and these manacles were in turn secured to the neck chains. Their ankles were unsecured, but since they were unable to rise much from a kneeling position, that was of no threat to anyone.
The Tales of Gor RPG adventure - Rosalita of Telnus (part six)
You smile to yourself beneath your
veils. The Earth girl is so out of her depth, and yet she doesn't
realise it yet. She thinks that you are equals. She has no idea. And
she is nervous from her encounter with Isabel's men. She has seen the
way they looked at her.
"I'll tell you how the men looked
at you,” you say, ignoring for the moment her last question. “They
looked at you and they wondered what you would be like in the furs,
didn't they? They wondered what pleasures you'd bring them?"

The Tales of Gor RPG adventure - Rosalita of Telnus (part five)
She's been branded. Actually branded. 'Is she insane', was your instant thought and reaction on seeing the kef sigil on Michelle's left thigh. Is she really so naive that she doesn't know what it means? But of course she's right in a sense that she cannot play the role of a slave with out it. The kef brand will be expected if she is to be ultimately convincing. And yet, even so, the brand will remain on her long after her mission for the Kurii ends.
You regard the girl on her knees now
before you – quite the change from the woman in the sumptuous gown
who reclined on your outdoor couch as if she owned the house. Then
all her words come together in your mind and you realise she is
actually naïve and she has no comprehension of what her role
entails.

The Tales of Gor RPG adventure - Rosalita of Telnus (part four)
It takes you a moment or two to fully digest the scene in front of you. This Earth girl has come into your home to play the part of a slave, and she has dared to help herself to your clothes, your wine and your food without your permission. Furthermore she has established herself in front of your sister as a supposed Free Woman.
You are obviously not happy about any of this.
The Tales of Gor RPG adventure - Rosalita of Telnus (part three)
It's a lot to take in, but on the surface it sounds like you have been awarded a promotion of sorts. Certainly Isabel and through her, her Kur Masters, is implying you are now a handler of another, junior agent. But an Earth girl? No doubt she will be totally untrained and unsuitable to be a Lady's house slave, despite the expectation that she will play such a role. Does Isabel expect you to have to train her? As a woman of High Caste you have a moderate skill in handling slaves ((1)) – you understand the basics at least of training them, forcing compliance, and bringing a new slave to understand their altered state of being, but it is not something you expected to have to do for the Kurii.

The Tales of Gor RPG adventure - Rosalita of Telnus (part two)
You smile softly as you watch your
sister lean against one of the crenellated ledges of the wall
overlooking the harbour below. Dante is fifteen years her senior, but
with his age stabilised at twenty four the age difference doesn't
look so obvious to your mind. Nevertheless he will be experienced
with women by now. You frown, thinking of how he will no doubt be the
typical kind of man who sates his desires with the slave-girls owned
by his family. That is what men do after all. He has never Free
Companioned to your knowledge, maybe because his work for his family
takes him so far afield across the waters of the Thassa on a regular
basis. But most men do Free Companion at some point, if only to
establish a dynasty and to arrange political and social matters to
their convenience. Love can come into it, but not necessarily. There
would be an expectation for Rosanna to bring with her to the Free
Companionship ceremony some advantage in social, political, financial
or military terms. Dante's family was powerful and wealthy within
Telnus, and no doubt many High Caste women would look favourably on
an alliance with his house through the noble and lofty ceremony of
Free Companionship. It would certainly be good for the Sanchez family
name.

The Tales of Gor RPG adventure - Rosalita of Telnus (part one)
“Rosalita! Come quickly! The round
ships are coming back! You must see!”
Your concentration this morning was
disturbed by the sound of your excitable 19 year old sister
breathlessly running across the marbled floor of your study as you
gazed thoughtfully at the common copper tarsk coin in your hand. It
had been delivered to your house in Telnus this morning and handed to
you silently without any explanation, for it needed none. It was the
cryptic method of communication between you and the Kur agent in
Telnus, the beautiful Lady Isabel Clara Saffini. As you turned the
coin over in your hands, your fingers found the tell tale indentation
on the rim of the coin. If you considered the coin to be a clock face
as you looked at the engraving of noble Lurius of Jad (looking rather
slimmer than he actually is, you couldn't help but notice – there
was no sign of his jowls underneath his fat chin for example), then
the position of the notch would indicate a time – the tenth ahn of
the day, corresponding to noon. This would then be the time that a
palanquin would arrive to quietly convey you to whichever rendezvous
spot the Lady Isabel had chosen in order to speak with you. No doubt
she had news or perhaps work for you to do.
NEW! Tales of Gor RPG: Lady Rosalita and the city of Telnus
Background for the Tales of Gor RPG
adventure that will be commencing on this blog very soon now.
The Lady Rosalita lives in Telnus on
the coast of the island of Cos which like all Gorean cities is a
bustling, thriving and colourful place in which to have adventures. I
like to flesh out settings and so this is a short list describing
some of the locations that the gentle Lady Rosalita will be familiar
with at the start of the interactive Tales of Gor role-playing game.
Any of these places can be visited and more locations will be created
as the story unfolds.

NEW! A Tales of Gor interactive RPG adventure!
So, this is going to be a little
different from my usually heavily planned out in advance and scripted
stories. Astute readers of this blog will be aware that a rather
fabulous official Gor role-playing game was released earlier this
year, entitled 'Tales of Gor'. Like all role-playing games it can
either be played tabletop face to face with friends (around, um, a
table...), or, as is becoming quite popular these days, via the
Internet. A couple of weeks ago chloeK (the talented artist who does
all the Emma of Gor pictures) and I were messing about with some back
and forth writing improvisation just for fun and I suggested, since
she seemed to be enjoying it, that we could try something more formal
as an RPG adventure on this blog site.
So that's what we're going to do.
chloeK has created a Gorean character using the rules in the Tales of
Gor book and I'll be running an adventure story on a very regular
basis (several times a week is the idea) for her to react and respond
to. It will read a bit like a story that is serialised in bite size
chunks, albeit written in the second person, and crucially I'm not
fully in control of where the story goes.
Yikes!

Shadows of Gor Chapter Ten (of Eighteen)
Chapter Ten: 'Fidelio'
“Stop pulling at the skirt of your garment,” I whispered as Marissa and I walked quickly along the side of a deep canal, being careful that we kept to the shadows. “She-urts don’t do that.”
I shouldn't have spoken to her like that of course, but looking at the Lady Marissa now it was so easy to forget that she was a Free Woman and not just another slave girl like me. Her legs were bare after all; her arms were bare; she wore a skimpy rag of a tunic, tight fitting, brief, figure hugging, with a slashed neck line, and her face was bare. I was of course used to speaking in a certain way to women who looked like that, and it was the manner in which a First Girl speaks to a Kajira of a lesser rank. But she wasn't really a Kajira – she was a Free Woman who was playing the part of a she-urt of the canals of Port Kar.

An Introduction to Gor trailer! (Gor in under 3 minutes...)
Okay, so it's actually a trailer for
the (really good) Gor RPG and source book which I reviewed many
months back, but it suddenly occurred to me that as a trailer for Gor
in general it's not a bad way to introduce someone who just stumbled
across my blog by accident to the basic Gorean mythos that I use in
my stories.
I'd be hard pushed to summarise Gor in
under three minutes quite so well, so I'm going to let James
Desborough do it for me.
Go take a look!
Sadly no dancing girls this time
around, but don't let that put you off...

Designing the Gor RPG (video link)
Okay, so I actually meant to post this
link ages ago but seem to have forgotten! That's me having a blonde
moment I guess. It's a 25 minute video in which James Desborough (the
designer and publisher of the Gor RPG) talks about the long journey
from initially obtaining the licence from John Norman for a Gor game
to finally publishing the finished product this year. James is a very
good raconteur on youtube and his thoughts and observations always
make for fun listening. This then is him musing on Gor and its
potential for tabletop and internet gaming. Hope you find it as
interesting as I did.
Oh, and it has a slinky dancing girl in the early bit! See... I knew you'd be interested if I said there was a dancing girl... ;)

Shadows of Gor Chapter Nine (of Eighteen)
Chapter Nine: In the Court of the Crimson King
Let me make one thing clear. When he's not busy practising a cold, emotionless scowl in a wall length mirror, Samos, First Slaver of Port Kar, and senior agent of the Priest Kings, really loves playing Kaissa...
I mean, really, really loves playing Kaissa...
It apparently wasn't always the case. But over the last 20 years or so Samos has developed a taste for the mathematical board game that resembles Earth chess.

Spend Christmas this year with Rachel Evans...
If you've been wondering what Rachel
has been doing on Earth since she was returned there at the end of
Panther Girl of Gor, you'll get to find out in a Rachel Evans
Christmas one-off story set on Christmas Eve 2023 to be posted later
this month.
Provisionally entitled 'Glad Tidings of
Comfort and Joy,' Rachel comes face to face with the growing menace
of the Kurii as they begin to take control behind the scenes on an unsuspecting Earth,
while the Priest Kings concentrate their weakened resources to
protect Gor.

Shadows of Gor Chapter Eight (of Eighteen)
Chapter Eight: Chloe and I make our theatrical debut on the stage of Boots Tarsk-Bit
“Oh woe! What is to become of us?” I cried as I placed the back of my right hand dramatically to my forehead in a mock swoon. I stood on a temporary stage constructed this morning from raised planks of wood. I was surrounded by pots of ferns that were meant to imply a Gorean forest, and for the first time in over five years I wore the long flowing gowns and light veils of a Free Woman, as did Chloe who stood in a similar state to myself somewhere to my left. “It has been several frightful hours now since I, the good Lady Candicia of Pseudopolis, and my bitter rival, the Lady Tandice of Anango became lost in this endless forest. Oh woe that we chose to leave our fine caravan this morning while it briefly rested, and strayed too far in order to pick some fruit.”

Shannon's guide to basic slave positions on Gor
Greetings, Masters and Mistresses, and welcome to the Sardar estate of the sadly departed warrior Brinn. I trust the lunch was to your liking? My name is Shannon and I've been a slave-girl here for several years now. I understand some of you expressed an interest at lunch in seeing various common slave positions and so I have been instructed to demonstrate some of the more basic ones to you today. There are of course many such positions, but this demonstration will serve as an introduction to the ones we learn early on in our slavery. I must apologise in advance to the Mistresses here for one or two of the poses are not appropriate in the presence of Free Women. There is a selection of wines and cheeses and some pleasing music in the adjoining chamber should any of the gracious Mistresses feel they would rather not remain here to observe.

Shadows of Gor Chapter Seven (of Eighteen)
Chapter Seven: I lie awake in the dark, listening to Chloe being fucked
The floorboards were hard and uncomfortable after having spent so many years on Brinn's couch bed, or at worst on the soft furs piled deep in front of the coal stoves in the kitchens. I was chained by my ankle to an iron ring set at the base of the wall, with a chain length insufficient to reach the couch bed itself. I think that had been Simon's intention, as he had adjusted its length before clipping it to the wall.
Softly at first in the darkness, and then louder, and then much louder, Chloe was moaning and crying out from the couch bed where Simon was enjoying her at his leisure.

Emma - Dancing Girl of Gor
A superb character illustration by chloeK of Emma in her red fluttering silks dancing from the opening sequence of chapter six of Shadows of Gor. Although chloeK gets advance copies of my stories so she can plan the art she creates, this sequence was a late addition and so she created the picture after the chapter was published last Monday. It's possibly one of my favourite pictures that she's created of our sulky heroine, Emma, although chloeK with characteristic modesty apologised for what she thinks is a lower quality picture due to having current PC problems!
I myself think it's beautiful. :)
The Lady Marissa of Corcyrus
A character study picture of the Lady Marissa

Shadows of Gor Chapter Six (of Eighteen)
Chapter Six: Explanations are given before we begin a long journey by land and sea to Port Kar
'...and by a force of will,
my lungs are filled,
with air,
so I breathe.'
Two years eight months ago, minus a few days, sort of...
I had danced on the tiles for just under eight minutes. Barefoot, fully made up with my most beguiling cosmetics, naked except for long ankle length strips of red silk tied to a silver chain about my waist, shorter lengths of silk to my wrists, and belled at the ankles, I had danced to the Arabic rhythms of three musicians who sat in a far corner. I say Arabic but of course they were from the Tahari and they enjoyed the patronage of Brinn who had taken a liking to that kind of music when it was accompanied and enhanced by the presence of silken dancers such as myself. Back on Earth I had loved Arabic style trance records that fused the ethnic desert rhythms with electronic pulses. I’ve always loved music and in my student days I tried to learn to play the guitar, never really progressing beyond some basic heavy blues riffs, as I thought it might give me an air of bohemian artistry and attract the attention of the lovely Cathy Granger, because didn’t all women want to hang out with a guitarist? Sadly Cathy Granger found one of the members of the University rowing society more her kind of thing.

Shadows of Gor - Chapter Five (of Eighteen)
Chapter Five: We are auctioned together on the slave block of the House of Kanaan
The sharp crack of the slaver’s whip against the wooden boards was the signal for Lot 23 – Chloe and myself – to walk on stage and present ourselves to the assembled men and a small handful of women who, it must be said, kept themselves within an informal grouping, preferring not to sit or stand in amongst men who had thoughts of female flesh on their minds. Our potential buyers stood watching from the sawdust covered floor in direct sight of the platform as we stepped out into bright daylight. We were both naked, and our original collars had been removed and replaced with platform collars stating that were currently in the care of the House of Kanaan. A carefully measured extract of Belladonna had been applied with an eyedropper to make our pupils appear bigger just before we were due to be auctioned. We wore full makeup that I had applied to us both, choosing to wave away an auction house slave-girl who had been doing the rounds to tend to girls with little or no makeup skills.

Shadows of Gor - Chapter Four (of Eighteen)
Chapter Four: My Fate and Other Nightmares
“No, I’m not going to give the bitch the satisfaction. I'm not.”
“For God’s sake, Emma, she’ll probably kill you if you refuse. You won't believe how angry she was last night. Simon has gone to great lengths to calm her down and plead on your behalf for mercy. All you have to do is beg for your life and she’ll let you live.” Chloe knelt beside me as I lay on a pile of soft furs in one of the slave pens. All around me the other girls watched and listened. I lay on my stomach of course because the whip marks were still fresh and painful across my back.

Shadows of Gor Chapter Three (of 18)
Chapter Three: Elevation
I hung there from manacles around my wrists, suspended from a hinged ring mounted on a thick wooden pole ten feet above the ground of the central courtyard. I was able to support the weight of my body, barely, on a thin off cut of wood that was fixed against the pole at the position where my feet would reach. Cruelly the piece of wood was only wide enough to support one foot (although I could rest the other foot on top of the first) and only if I stretched my body taut and touched the off cut of wood with the ball of my foot. Otherwise I would hang there with the weight of my body pulling at my wrists in their iron manacles.

Shadows of Gor Chapter Two (of 18)
Chapter Two: Queen Bitch
“Lady Cassandra, it is my great pleasure to welcome you back to the Sardar. As always, you grace us with your charm and exquisite refinement, and I speak personally for the entire household in Brinn's absence when I say that your visits are always a delight. May I offer you our full hospitality, and I place myself at your personal service in all things. I consider your word to be the word of Brinn, my friend and patron.”
Sadly, Simon wasn’t making any of this up for comic effect. I listened to him greet Cassandra with the warmest tones possible as I knelt in the dirt in the grounds facing the villa with the Household slaves lined up behind me for inspection. Cassandra had been carried to this spot in her gilded palanquin, and now her retinue of warriors had lined up in three ranks either side of her conveyance, standing proud with spears and shields and crested helmets in the Gorean manner. Simon had assembled Brinn’s own warriors to face them, not as any sort of challenge of course, but rather as a welcome since both sets of warriors in a sense belonged to the same family house.

Shadows of Gor Chapter One (of 18)
Chapter
One: The Best of Times
It was I suppose the best of times, until it became the worst of times.
Six years had passed since I had played
my part in the downfall of Kurgus, Seremides and Miss Elizabeth
Bentley on the shores of Lake Siljan. I had perhaps imagined my story
was over, and that there would be nothing left to tell. I had said
goodbye to Rachel, and I had submitted fully and completely to Brinn
of the Sardar. I truly thought my days of adventure were over.
How little I knew.

Review: 'The Game of Worlds' (A Tales of Gor RPG supplement)
'The Game of Worlds' review
For me, one of the most compelling aspects of the Gorean milieu is the 'Great Game' that is played out in the background by the two alien races, the Priest Kings and the Kurii, with us humans acting as their playthings or expendable resources. And tied in to it is one of the core concepts of the Gor series – the ships of acquisition that travel through space bringing humans from one world to the other, most often women, and most often against their will.

3:
Sadric of Corcyrus
Although my rational mind told me that
I couldn’t possibly be on an alien planet, there were three factors
now that I couldn’t explain or account for.
Firstly was the fact that I now stood
outside the steel hull of what looked remarkably like a space ship of
advanced technology, about the length of an Easy Jet passenger plane,
but bulkier, and it rested, embedded in a deep trench of scorched
earth. The vessel was utterly seamless, with no visible means of
propulsion and no weaponry that I could discern. There was a line of
devastation that could be seen in the moonlight once my eyes grew
accustomed to the night time, from where the ship had perhaps skidded
through trees and fields for several miles before coming to rest.
Something had happened to the vessel, for the hull on this side was
breached with jagged tears and in one place a gaping hole. No doubt
pressured bulkheads had sealed off the damaged area or else none of
us would have survived what seemed to be a crash landing.

2: I find myself awake within a steel ship of
acquisition
I awoke, terrified, screaming, finding
myself trapped within the narrow confines of a transparent glass like
tube that was positioned at a tilted forty five degree angle within a
narrow metal walled room. I raised my hands as far as I could to
about waist height and pressed frantically at the glass of my prison
with the palms of my hands, crying out for help.
To my shock, I saw other similar tubes
lining the walls of this room, and in each one I saw another girl,
naked like myself, apparently screaming and pressing against the
surface of the glass as I did, though I could not hear their voices.
My own voice had a deep resonance to it, sealed as I was within the
glass container.

"Am I not merciful?"
A teaser scene from one of the early
chapters of the upcoming 'Shadows Of Gor' novel that I thought I'd show
off as it's the sort of group composition that Chloe excels at. She
has entitled it, “Am I not merciful?” and the ironic meaning
behind that will become quite clear when the chapter is published.
A Slave Girl's Revenge (A Gor short story)
“Mistress is late,” I said as the
cloaked and hooded figure of Lady Serafina entered the upstairs room
of the seedy and run down inn that stood close to the Maze sector of
the city. The woman’s hand shook as she closed the door and lowered
the hood of her cloak to reveal a soft, beautiful Taharian face
framed with long olive dark hair.

The Lady Cassandra (character concept pic)
New character concept art from ChloeK
that arrived in my inbox this morning. Isn't it lovely? This is the
proud Lady Cassandra from, the very soon to appear, 'Shadows of Gor'
novel, which is mostly set in Port Kar. She is Brinn's haughty
sister, and it's fair to say she causes some serious problems for
Emma early on in the novel. She will then go on to play a significant
role in book 5, 'Ubara of Gor' but that's a way off yet and unlikely
to appear before 2018. See – we really do plan ahead. :)

Yishana, from 'Shadows of Gor'
Another stunning picture created by
ChloeK as a 'tryout' design for one of the new characters that will
be introduced in book 4: 'Shadows of Gor'. This is Yishana, the
self-styled 'Ubara of the Black Coast' whom I've loosely based on the
character Bêlit from the Robert E Howard Conan story, 'Queen of the
Black Coast'.
Have I ever mentioned how great it is
working with a talented concept artist? :)
Emma's new look for book 4: 'Shadows of Gor'
As I've been writing the new book,
'Shadows of Gor', ChloeK, my erstwhile partner in crime, has been
hard at work creating wonderful new images for each chapter. While
some of them are very story specific and would count as spoilers if I
posted any examples now, some others are try outs for characters and
costumes. Bearing in mind 'Shadows of Gor' takes place 5 to 6 years
after the first trilogy, Chloe has revamped Emma's look a bit to make
the passage of time more obvious (though the stabilisation serums of
course prevent any actual ageing). Here's her new hairdo that she'll
be sporting from chapter five onwards.

Agents of the Silver Masks - an adventure module for the Tales of Gor RPG
Agents
of the Silver Masks
An 'add on' adventure module by Emma R.
for the 'Tales of Gor' role-playing game.
Overview
This isn't a stand alone adventure
module as such, and so it isn't really written to be played on its
own without a lot of work (and without losing a lot of the context).
To use it you will really need a copy of the 'Tales of Gor' scenario,
'The Silver Cult' (you can read my review of it here: The Silver Cult review
). 'Agents of the Silver Masks' plugs a gap in the main module in
Scene Three (Degradation and Diplomacy) where the player characters
are captured by the Silver Mask conspiracy and they face being thrown
into the silver mines in chains.

Gor (1)
(a
sporadic new mini-series)
1: Café
Gold
I was drinking
expensive coffee at a fashionable Notting Hill café in the heart of
London when I first saw the Gorean coin. Of course at that time I had
no concept that it was Gorean. I had never heard of the world, nor
had I considered the possibility that a Counter Earth could exist on
the far side of the sun. I knew nothing of Priest Kings or Ubars or
worlds with multiple moons or steel ships. I simply stared at the
coin as Sophia placed it on the café table in front of me and
watched her sit back, pleased with herself for the first time in many
months. The coin was quite large, larger than any of the Earth coins
in my purse. It was roughly made, crudely stamped and yellow like raw
gold. I picked up the coin and was surprised at how heavy it felt.
The script on the edges was unfamiliar and the curious designs made
no sense as far as I could tell. I looked at Sophia, hoping for an
explanation.
Lady Marissa's Problem
Lady Marissa's Problem
(a
stand alone Gorean short story featuring a new character from the
upcoming 'Shadows of Gor' novel)
It was intolerable of
course, the way Lady Marissa's favourite Guardsman, Darius, was
doting over his new slave-girl, Sasira. Like many Free Women, Marissa
did not particularly like slaves. Obviously she understood that they
were a useful part of Gorean society, and certainly she couldn’t
imagine a world without them, but nevertheless there was something
about the scantily clad girls that annoyed her. Darius had saved for
many months to purchase a blonde barbarian girl from the pens of
Attius, one of the more respectable slavers in the city of Corcyrus.
The word 'respectable' had limited meaning of course when conferred
upon the caste of slavers, but in this case it meant that Attius
didn’t obviously assess Free Women as if they might be
potential merchandise every time he met one. In contrast to some
other slavers who would be noting down a woman's likely block price
within minutes of meeting her, Attius was always polite and
respectful to women such as Marissa – according them the same
dignity as male customers. This pleased Marissa, because on the whole
she didn’t trust or like slavers – an understandable opinion, and
a sensible one. Even the kindest, most deferential slaver was really
akin to a sleen on a leash. Marissa was intelligent enough to
recognise that a slaver who was polite and respectful within the
confines of a city might act very differently if encountered on the
road if his guards outnumbered one’s own.

The official 'Emma of Gor' map!
Map of Gor (Emma's version)
There have been numerous versions made
to produce a map of Gor, and most of them can be found on the
Internet with a few searches. For the purpose of the sprawling Emma
of Gor trilogy ('trilogy' of course is soon to be a rather poor
description of the number of volumes once book 4 begins to be
serialised...) this is the map I use for my vision of Gor. It seems
to me to be the most detailed and the most attractive looking, and so
you can consider it an accurate and official map of Emma's world.

'Shadows of Gor' cover preview
My very talented co-creator, ChloeK, has
recently been hard at work creating pictures for my upcoming book 4
of the Emma trilogy, and earlier on today she sent me this amazing
cover for the new volume (which delibeately mirror references the
previous 'Emma of Gor' cover at the top of this page).
I can't resist showing it off, and so
here it is. Click on it to enlarge it.
I'm very lucky to have her working with
me. :)

'The Silver Cult' adventure module (Tales of Gor RPG) review
'The Silver Cult' (Tales of Gor RPG)
Postmortem Studios (33pp)
It’s only been a few weeks since Tales of Gor appeared in pdf and then print form, and already we have the second
adventure module, which pleases me no end as I do like to see a
steady stream of supplements for a new game system.
Now, whereas the previous module, The
Tower of Art, could probably be classed as ‘Gor light’ since it
took a rather PG rated approach to the more notorious aspects of Mr
Norman’s saga, this time around the authors deliver a far more
‘purist’ adventure that ticks pretty much every Gor box you’d
expect. If Tower of Art strayed into Robert E Howard territory a bit
(and that’s no bad thing – REH is one of my favourite writers)
then The Silver Cult is instead an adventure with the feel of the
first dozen or so Gor novels.
Straight away we’re delving into
‘Outlaw of Gor’ territory as the central plot involves a
resurrected Silver Mask conspiracy 50 years on from the fall of the
Matriarchal regime in the silver rich city of Tharna.
Panther Girl of Gor Chapter Fourteen
And so here we are.
The cold, windy summit of Skaffel Peak.
The end game begins.
The hull of the ship now lay at an acute sixty degree angle with the base of Skaffel Peak. As we released ourselves from the safety harnesses in the control room, I saw Rachel move towards Brinn’s body with a worryingly determined expression to her face.
“Rachel, no! Don’t even think about it!” I warned as I hastily unclipped my own harness and bounded from my chair, intent on stopping her if she tried anything.
“Think about what?” said Rachel as she slipped Brinn’s knife from its sheath and kept it for herself.
Panther Girl of Gor Chapter Thirteen
Chapter Thirteen: Golden Klaw
The second day inside Golden Klaw:
“I love this one!” I was already halfway out of the shower with a white fluffy towel in one hand when I heard the first thwaka-thwaka-thwaka chords of Bowie’s ‘Modern Love’ starting up. I ran, still wet from the shower, across the corridor towards the living room and skidded through just as Bowie was singing the intro refrain:
I know when to go out
And when to stay in
Get things done
I catch a paper boy
But things don't really change
I'm standing in the wind
But I never wave bye-bye
But I try
I try…
Rachel was there on one of the sofas with her feet curled under her as she gazed at the tatty vinyl sleeve of the 'Let’s Dance' album in her hands, Other late seventies Bowie albums were scattered on the carpeted floor - 'Young Americans', 'Low', 'Station to Station', 'Scary Monsters', and 'Heroes'. She had been working her way through the albums Bowie had released after she had been taken to Gor. It was all new to her.
I had of course warned her not to bother with the 'Never Let Me Down' album.
Panther Girl of Gor Chapter Twelve
Chapter Twelve: Lake Siljin
We're nearing the end now. Can you feel it? Can you feel the disparate threads drawing together in this woven tapestry of fate? Oh God, I tried to make that sentiment sound as poetic as I could, but looking back at it I realise only too well that I'm not a poet. I'm so near the end now that much of this is relatively fresh in my memory. I can still smell the burnt flesh from the flame strike that devoured Seremides's shield wall, and I can still hear in my head the raucous sound from the terrified birds and animals that had survived the divine intervention of the Priest Kings from the sky.
But I'm still no nearer to guessing who I'm writing this for. I thought perhaps that as my account grew in length I might remember some small thing that would answer that nagging question in my head. I do have one thought, and unlikely as it seems, I'm going to voice it aloud.
Are you Tarl Cabot? I mean, are you? Because wouldn't that be ironic if after all the many times I've espoused theories about Tarl Cabot being a series of different men taking on the name to further the ambitions of the Priest Kings, and even having speculated that there hasn't been a Tarl Cabot in decades, wouldn't it be ironic if that is exactly who I'm writing this account for?
Are you Tarl Cabot, sitting in some curule chair in your house in Port Kar, with enslaved beauties such as Vella chained to a slave ring at your feet as you read these pages? Did Vella ever really exist? Do you still take an interest in the affairs of the Kurii and of Priest Kings, and do you send for written accounts of momentous events that threaten to shatter the uneasy balance of power on this savage alien world?
It's a wild guess. But there it is, on paper now.
Panther Girl of Gor Chapter Eleven
Chapter Eleven: The Wrath of the Gods
Rachel held my hand as we ran through the forest, and I was happy to hold hers. I could feel her trembling still from our near death encounter with Kurgus. It felt strange to be dressed now as a Panther Girl in the tight fitting and revealing skins of the forest cats. Were it not for my slave collar and my pierced ears and nose I think I might be mistaken for a Panther Girl, for many of them were beautiful enough to be slave-girls. I could sense however that I wasn’t particularly liked by the girls in the war band, for Panther Girls despise slaves, and they knew with a degree of certainty that I was not strong enough to live and hunt in the forests as they did. I was not given a weapon, and I noticed that now that Rachel had lost her knife to Brinn she too was unarmed. She could I suppose have told one of her girls to hand her a spear, but I suspect it would have been ceremonial at best. Rachel was not experienced in fighting with a pole arm, and I suppose it was better placed in the hands of a girl who did know how to use it.
I did wonder also if maybe Rachel felt uncomfortable carrying a weapon in Brinn’s vicinity. I knew Brinn would not approve of what he considered to be one of his slaves carrying a weapon. Would he have objected if she had reached for a spear? I couldn’t imagine that Brinn would actually confront the Panther Girls while we had more important matters such as escape and finding Fell's Bane in mind, but who knows. Gorean men can be extremely singularly minded at times. Maybe Brinn would have commanded Rachel to leave the spear alone, and if she refused maybe there would have been a confrontation, with the other Panther Girls hissing and pointing spears at him. And then what? Maybe Rachel decided it was better for everyone concerned not to risk such a thing happening, for she had a cooler head and was infinitely more pragmatic than our Master.
The Last Halloween
The Last Halloween
I used to love Halloween. It was always one of the big nights in my yearly calendar and wherever I was that day I'd make an effort to dress up, hang out with friends, go to parties and generally have a really good time. Now of course the day is a reminder of the very last time I saw my brother Eric in 2015 before he disappeared from our lives several months later. I blame myself for letting the months in-between slip away without checking up on him more. I was busy with work and I had that whole travelling around thing going on, working on the Doctor Strange film for Disney that was so exciting, especially since I'm a huge Benedict Bandersnatch fan, and I just didn't have time during the Winter to spend time and hang out with my family. You always think they're going to be there for you, no matter what, and then when one day they're gone you realise all the missed opportunities you've thrown away in the pursuit of your career.
The case is still open of course, though the fortnightly visits by the police support officer soon turned into monthly visits and then regular phone updates and now it's basically a case of we'll call you when we have something new to say. Mum has taken it really hard of course. She's gone into that same downward spiral that I saw her in when Dad walked out on us when I was a young girl. I keep thinking back to the Halloween night in 2015 and I keep thinking did I miss some obvious signs that Eric was unhappy? If I'd paid more attention would I have seen some indication that he was going to just disappear a few months later on?

Panther Girl of Gor Chapter Ten
Chapter Ten: The Eve of the War
Oh... my... God… I had such an amazing orgasm that night, so deep and rich and fulfilling. It was possibly the greatest slave orgasm I’d had since I'd been collared and sent to the slave pens. I suppose I had been without sex for several days, which may not sound like a long time to you, but then you’re not a slave-girl and you have no idea how needy we can be. I hadn’t been fucked since the night before that night before we set off into the forest, and that was the longest time I’d gone without sex since Brinn had bought me. So by the time Rachel led me on a leash and threw me to the grass beside Brinn for his final use before he died, I was already hot and wet, thinking only of sex.
It seems strange that on a night when everyone else in the camp was concerned with the impending battle that would take place the next day, my thoughts were chiefly on the possibility of being fucked. Of course I was frightened about the prospects ahead of me – it seemed that I would quite likely end up in a coffle chain of captured girls (mostly ex-Panthers it would seem) and belong to Seremides, Kurgus or Miss Bentley. The prospect wasn’t a happy one, but even so I was discovering something about myself, namely that going without sex for several days left me on edge and took my mind off other more important concerns.
