My second Gor RPG adventure is now available to buy!

My second Tales of Gor adventure module has just been released! This, like the previous one, is ‘authorised and approved’ by John Norman, though I doubt very much he has actually seen it personally…

He has an agent to do that for him, I suspect.

Anyway, it has all the fun and whimsical humour you come to expect from my take on Gor, and can now be purchased as either a quick and speedy download, or as a printed paper copy that will swim towards you through the old fashioned postal service.

You can find the links to both versions here:

What’s it about? I’m glad you asked. Here’s the introduction:

Prior to the Nest War of the 1960s (detailed in the novel, ‘Priest Kings of Gor’), the Priest Kings of the Sardar were the undisputed masters of Gor. But in the aftermath of the bloody civil war that almost tore the planet apart, the strength and global resources of the Nest were greatly depleted. For decades the Priest Kings hid their weakness from their implacable enemies – the Steel Worlds of the Kurii that lurk in the asteroid belts around Jupiter (Hesius, in the Gorean tongue) – and methodically set about rebuilding their power base.

Now more than fifty years after the Nest War, the Priest Kings are extending their power back into the more remote areas of the planet. Tarnburg is a vast mountain city located deep within the Voltai mountain range. The birthplace of the greatest military strategist in living memory – Dietrich of Tarnburg – the city ranks high on a list of Priest King objectives to monitor and observe the races living on the surface of Gor. To this end the Priest Kings plan to introduce a number of ‘surgically altered’ slave girls to high ranking families within Tarnburg. These slaves will have implants enabling the Priest Kings in the Sardar mountains to see and listen through the eyes and ears of the slaves, providing much needed intelligence to the vast data banks of the Sardar.

The player characters are known to the Sardar as men and women who have been of use in the past, and who can be trusted to undertake a vital mission in return for generous payment. They will be charged with assembling a chain coffle of beautiful slaves, into which implants will be placed, escorting them through the Voltai mountains and then in to Tarnburg where they will be given out or sold to targeted individuals. The eyes and ears of the Sardar will then be in place to monitor the intrigues and ambitions of that mountain enclave.

The scenario is in three parts.

In Act one the player characters frequent the seasonal slave markets in the foothills of the Voltai to procure a number of slaves to form their coffle.

In Act two they take the dangerous journey through the steep mountain passes of the Voltai, travelling to Tarnburg.

In Act three they seek to distribute the kajirae within the city, but as chance would have it; their original plans take an interesting turn when an unexpected opportunity presents itself to advance the Priest King cause even further, and to strike a powerful blow against the Kur conspiracy itself.

  2. Congrats! I've read it yesterday and it's really cool.
I especially like that the description of the NPC's is more detailed than in most of the other adventures.

  4. If you are familiar with JN’S book “NOMADS OF GOR” one of the key characters was “DINA of TURIA”.
Not only did she win for him “capture races” but was a loyal slave girl, which he freed and let her return to her city.
I believe that there is and could be a very good “spin off” tale her written by the right author like you.

After Dina is freed by Tarl and she returns to her city and tries to reestablish her bakery she is stymied by the slaver who is running Turia.

In the book Tarl sneaks into the city under a guise as a Jewel merchant who is discovered and is hidden by Dina.
In the story Tarl and Dina have multiple sexual liaisons.

HERE IS WHERE A SPIN OFF STORY BEGINS:

Unknown to Tarl, Dina becomes pregnant with a man child and he is never informed of it.
    Tina reestablishes her bakery.
She has a healthy red headed baby boy. Named Tarl of Turia
She marries a baker and has other children.
At the age of 14 she realizes that Tarl is something special and will become a great warrior like his father.
She contacts Kamchak of the Tuchuks and asks him to train the boy in the weapons/ways and traditions of the Wagon Peoples along with Kamchak's son from Apris of Tutia
Four years later they go to a city to learn/train to be a warrior who wears the Scarlet. Kamchaks son to earn the courage scar.

The tale from here could divert into many directions
Does he look for his father (Dina has told him of his heritage)?
Does he go off on other adventures to make a name for himself?

This could be a great diversion from your normal stories (which I think are great and I can’t wait for more)
It would really show off your excellent writing skills

The bottom line is Tarl Cabot has hundreds of liaisons over the years and I cannot believe he never sired any offspring.
This all takes place prior to his adventures per Bosk.
    What do you think?
