Ubara of Gor cover art

chloeK has just sent me the finished cover for the upcoming Ubara of Gor book, so I of course had to share it with everyone. Pictured from left to right on the stern castle of the Larl of the Thassa are Tijani, Yishana – the self proclaimed Ubara of the Black Coast, Emma of course in her ship board slave attire and finally Kerim Shah, Yishana's so-called sorcerer.

Yes, we all know there's no magic on Gor, but nevertheless Yishana has a man who claims to be a 'sorcerer'. How can this be? Well, all will be revealed in due course...

  1. Emma,

Should a karija not be bound to the mast displaying her beauty for Masters to admire?

    1. Mistress is of course right. Perhaps a picture like that will appear in one of the Ubara chapters. I’m sure ChloeK is open to requests from kind and gentle Mistresses who peruse our humble stories. :)

    2. Absolutely mistress, there's nothing a slave likes more than languishing in chains for the men's viewing pleasure while others do all the work :)

    3. Indeed, but you will have to do your share of the work, when the other slaves are resting.

  2. Uhhhh, actually, that's the stern castle. I've still got to finish building the fore castle, along with most of the rest of the ship :)
Just for interest, Yishana's cabin is just under the deck they're all standing on.

    1. A 50/50 chance of getting it right and I get it wrong! I don’t think I’d make a very good sailor... now corrected though. Looking forward to seeing your rendering of the inside of Yishana’s opulent cabin eventually. :)

    2. Given there's probably going to be a lot more scenes in there than on the deck of the ship, I should probably work on that next. I'm seeing a bed with furs, maybe a couple of chests and some hanging lamps. Maybe a small side table.

  3. Chloe,

Emma is only a slave girl, and cannot be expected to understand such important things as parts of the ship. No doubt, after a few sessions of what the Royal Navy used to call "Kissing the gunner's daughter" she will wake her ideas up.

    1. eeeeeek, I recognise that expression. I'm sure mistress will be lenient with a poor slave's ignorance.
      I'm sure I've got a model of a cat o'nines somewhere around :)

    2. Chloe,

Just to make sure I was right, I looked up Kissing the Gunner's Daughter and it was essentially inflicted on boys under 18 or Midshipmen, i.e. The Navy's trainee officers, and was the application of the cane rather than the cat o'nine tails, and only up to 12 strokes. So she is in luck.

  4. Chloe,

I have just noticed that Emma still got the name of the stern castle wrong. How many lashes do you think she deserves?

    1. She's fixed it now mistress. I'm sure it was just her other onerous duties that prevented her doing so earlier.

    2. Chloe,

You pointed out to Emma that it was called the stern castle, she only altered it to stern deck.

I seem to remember that Simon appointed you First Girl when Mistress Marissa bought you for him after Emma sulked, am I correct?

As you are First Girl, it is your responsibility to control the other slaves, you can beat them when they fail, but you get a more severe punishment if they fail and you do not correct them. So, I think both of you over the Gunner's Daughter, 6 for Emma and 9 for you, or you could send Emma out tonight as a Chain Girl. Just decide how many tarsk bits she must earn.

    3. Mistress Donna, a girl has been instructed to tell you that she has been beaten for her mistake and she will redouble her efforts in future not to displease you again. She is very sorry and thanks you for taking the time to correct her poor work and inform her owner...
