Hello, faithful readers. This is a quick post to let you know what we’re all working on at the moment.
Chloe has been given a bit of time to relax and recuperate after her mammoth art schedule, as she’s recently returned to the UK and is getting back to normal after her half year in Canada with the wolverines.
But I’ve been hard at work! The thing is, instead of working on a single project, and getting that done, I’ve been spreading my writing over several projects with more fragmented results for the short term, but more variety for the long term.
Chloe currently has the second Chloe short story to illustrate (‘First Among Kajirae’) which is a healthy 15,000 words. And I have close to 11,000 words of the third one (‘First Girl of the Sardar’) done. While originally this was going to be a trilogy of large short stories, it’s now likely to be four stories in total, culminating with ‘First Girl of Gor’. These stories will feature an appearance by the Lady Donna of Dover as a thank you for all the hard work she did indexing my stories for character appearances and creating the reference material. I might add that the appearance of the Lady Donna as a character is why I’ve had to add an extra story to the ‘trilogy’ because she has been sending me detailed instructions as to what she would do when she met Brinn, Cassandra, Chloe and the other men and women on the estate. It won’t surprise you to know she’s very exacting in her requirements… ;)
I have the first couple of chapters of Gods of Gor done and the overall story arc fully mapped out from beginning to end.
I have the first five or so chapters of the Rachel novel done.
I’m working on a pictorial guide to the Sardar estate (pov Chloe) to go with a series of art that she supplied ages ago.
And I’m probably going to make Silver Masks of Gor (the second of the two Kiera pov books, filling in the backstory to Shadows of Gor before Emma got involved) as the next serial you’ll see here. I have part of the first chapter written.
So have no fear if there’s a temporary hiatus! Once Chloe is settled in there will be lots of things to look forward to.
The picture by the way is Chloe modelling the new Tahari style garments she’s rolling out to many of the girls on Brinn’s estate. As she begins to purchase more and more Taharian girls, she is gradually transforming the look of the Sardar estate and consolidating her power base in the slave pens, because the Taharian girls are quick to support her.
LOOKING GOOD !

Just to update you all on the character and drawing anthologies. The character anthology was completed at Christmas time, and I will not send Emma an update for that until we have had several new stories.
ReplyDeleteOn the Chloe drawing anthology I have completed Books 0-3, and 7, so that leaves me books 4 and 5 to do, but they are both heavily illustrated so will take some time. I have sent Chloe what I have done so far for checking. Once I have Books 4 and 5 done and checked I will let Emma have the list to publish. Then I will tackle the
short stories, Chloe's modelling sessions etc.
The Kind and Gentle Lady Donna of Dover.
Tal Donna,
DeleteIf you could use some help on the eventual update to the character anthology, let me know.
Tal Mick,
DeleteI am catching up quite quickly with the drawing anthology at the moment, all the main stories are done except Shadows of Gor, and I started tonight on the previews, Chloe's fashion shows etc. The only short story outstanding is The Last Christmas.
I should be ok at keeping up with the updates to the character anthology provided Emma does not overwhelm us with stories every day. Thanks for the offer
Donna
Tal Emma,
ReplyDeleteGood girl...pat on head.... one piece of baklava and a small bowl chipped tapas sized ceramic bowl of ka la na for you....
No ....on all fours ...no hands allowed...lick girl ...lick...

PS Welsh Goverment introduced minimum alcohol prices on 2nd March 2020. Kill joys....Day after Dydd Dewi Sant....Un dydd ar ol Dydd Dewi Sant ofnadwy..dreadful
and still 2 rounds of the Six Nations to go. :-(
PPs As she is back in the UK Chloe can start watching Welsh Learner shows on S4C then she'll understand Gerallt's melodic tones far better
Tal Emma and Chloe,
ReplyDeleteSounds like there is much good material to look forward to! I'm pleased to hear the Chloe short story is likely expanding to four parts. I'll have some treats and fine wine delivered :)
And I've just completed the third Chloe story (First Girl of the Sardar) which runs to a hefty 36 pages. It's with Chloe now for art, alongside 'First Among Kajirae'.
ReplyDeleteOk....
DeleteMore baklava and a large pan of ka la na for your fine efforts here....
Dafydd o Abertawe
Thank you, Master. I've just started story 4 in the sequence and I notice I'm up to 55,000 words so far. The definition of a novel is apparently 50,000 words plus, so it looks like the Chloe sequence is now in 'small novel' territory...
DeleteIf Ubara of Gor was an affectionate homage to Robert E Howard's story, 'Queen of the Black Coast', then the end story of the Chloe sequence is an affectionate homage to Fritz Leiber's Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser story, 'Stardock', as our intrepid characters (minus Emma) scale the Sardar mountains belonging to the Priest Kings.
Tal Emma,
DeleteFantastic news. Missing your work soooo much that I have re read the flashback chapter from 'Shadows' and my fav chapter from 'Slave World'.....
My weekly Wednesday morning treat fnished when Ubara ended.....
Dafydd o Abertawe
Tal Emma,
DeleteStriking my left shoulder with my right palm for the reveal of Chloe's story growing into a novella, at least. Now you just have to survive that dangerous trek into the jungle and return safely to the Sardar in order to enjoy all the Baklava and Ka-la-na waiting for you.
Well past novella length, Master, as a novella is usually defined as 10,000 to 40,000 words. I suspect the four story Chloe book will touch 70,000 words in all, so deserves to be listed as one of the novels here, albeit a composite novel of four stories in much the same way SF books of the '60s and early '70s often were, after being serialised in magazines first.
DeleteDa iawn ti eto, dyna seren!
DeleteWell done you yet again, you are a star!***
Seren = Star.
A female Welsh name.
Nice name for a Barbarian slave girl new to her 1st collar and branding I think?
Dafydd
Tal Dafydd,
DeleteI like Seren as well. It reminds me of the former Page 3 and Zoo glamour model. Apparently Seren Gibson has done quite well for herself since working her way through uni by modeling. But I digress...
Mari is another of my favourite names. I know two ladies named Mari, but it comes from the Nordic culture rather than Celtic, in their case.
Just to quickly update everyone - I'm a good 18 pages into the fourth Chloe story, so all is progressing nicely over here. :)
DeleteTal Emma,
DeleteExcellent. Clearly the offer made to Emma from several Masters of baklava and ka la na is having the desired impact of your Muse....
We are all looking forward eagerly to the next posting.
Gwych….Excellent
Dafydd o Abertawe
Two thumbs up! You're the best, Emma!
Delete'Mari Lwyd' was a Welsh folk practice from the 18th and 19th century from South Wales.
DeleteGoogle it.
Dafydd
I also like Enfys, pronounced en-viss as a kajira name too. F = a V in Welsh.
ReplyDeleteThis ia a female name for Rainbow.
Ryan Davies sings a lovely Welsh version of Over the Rainbow on youtube....listen with hanky at the ready.
Better than Judy Garland but I am biased of course. Ryan died young too.. only 40! :-(
Dafydd
Tal All,
ReplyDeleteHope everyone is ok at this panic over you know what.
Wash your hands and avoid touching door handles..
All the best everyone
Pob lwc i bawb
Dafydd o Abertawe
All is well in Wessex, Master. :) I have lots of writing coming up shortly. Chloe is currently working on art and has sent me the first few pictures. She's somewhere behind me on the work cycle so I'll be posting once she's ready. I will have enough writing to count as a short novel (i.e. the length of SF/Fantasy novels in the 1970s as opposed to now).
DeleteAnd of course, if I end up having to stay at home in isolation, expect LOTS of writing from me...
Tal Emma,
DeleteWell I just hope the pubs in my valley town stay open even if they have to be quiet/empty.
If the gym is closed I will go stir crazy .....just have to walk the hills singing 'Myfanwy' instead...
Dafydd
Pubs closed
DeleteMy gym in Merthyr is closed
Send a Silver Ship NOW and take me to the Sardar.
Life on Earth has lost the little meaning it ever had....
And there is NO rugby either....
Help.. help... I am fading away.
Dafydd o Abertawe
Tal Dafydd,
ReplyDeleteHow about writing a story from the pov of a male salve on Brinn's estate, you could start a rugby team, if you win you get a female slave for the night.
I am not sure that the Priest-Kings would let any silver ship land at the moment.
Anyway, I hope all readers are well and coping with the situation.
The Kind and Gentle Lady Donna of Dover
Tal Donna,
ReplyDeleteWell with the gym closed I am ordering a weights bench and a barbell today online.
I have dumbbells and an ab curler at home too so that will help.
Unfortunately no sauna, spa pool or steam room in my house to soften my glowing, hairless silken skin. It will have to be a rough scourge with the lynx sponge in the morning I think.
Anyway I had a good look at a lovely blonde in a tiny black bikini as she emerged from the steam room last night. Literally was last night wasn't it.
She should be on the 'Acquisition List' as she was simply 10/10 because as she walked nothing and I mean nothing jiggled or moved when it shouldn't.
Her ass curves were to die for with no trace of cellulite and she had no stomach fat at all...totally flat...concave even.
She was such a contrast to the usual 'lard buckets' and 'land whales' that populate the South Wales valley area
Some lucky sod is social distancing with her for the next 12 weeks eh?
Well I've got Buttercup but I'd swap her for that blonde from last night I can tell you!
Stay safe all, even you Donna! :-)
Dafydd o Abertawe
Tal Dafydd,
ReplyDeleteI do wonder why the Priest-Kings bother with voyages of acquisition to the UK at all, given the abundance of land buckets that I see on the streets. Perhaps a benefit of the virus will be that the aforesaid lard buckets are but on short rations for several months, enforced closure of MacDonalds and their ilk will no doubt help.
The Kind and Gentle Lady Donna of Dover
Tal Donna,
ReplyDeleteLiving in South Wales this is a real curse too. But as I said there was that one oasis yesterday in the gym.
There are also a few (and I mean a few) suitable others that could be collared, branded and auctioned on the block that used the gym facility until Boris closed it last night.
However as you rightly observe, the obesity epidemic may be reduced somewhat by the virus pandemic. Who knows?
BTH do you live in Kent/Dover in reality?
Dafydd
Tal Dafydd,
ReplyDeleteYes, my home is in Dover in reality.
The Kind and Gentle Lady Donna of Dover
Tal Donna,
DeleteI think you'd be better at writing the fate of rugby loving, good looking (no make that very good looking) male slave on Bryn's estate....hate to think what you'd have in store for him and his baby soft skin....all sorts of nasty piercings in all sorts of places I bet!
:-)
