Putting together a Gorean character 'who's who'

It is high time I think that I put together a who's who of characters in the Emma of Gor novels and short stories as the world I've built up in and around John Norman's own work has now taken on an immense life of its own and may seem daunting to new readers who don't necessarily know who everyone is.

This is where you can help, lovely readers! Without re-reading every story I've written I'm likely to forget some minor characters that have appeared from time to time. So, if you want to help me compile a list of entries, post some comments with the names of more minor characters that I should remember to include. Obviously I don't need to be reminded of the likes of Brinn, Rachel, Chloe and Emma...

I'll then get hard to work writing the who's who of characters!

Well, once I'm taken off latrine duty that is... honestly cleaning those toilets is taking up all my time at the moment... I would have probably written another novella for you if I hadn't had to clean the toilets every day... but of course the masters and mistresses know best. *demure look*

Oh, and the picture by the way is concept art by Chloe for my Tales of Gor RPG character – Yasmina. She's kindly putting together a portfolio of images for me to use with my character sheet. One of the benefits of collaborating with a talented digital artist – I get to scrounge art for my RPG character! :)

  1. Tal slave 646,

I will try and go through some of the books.

As for coming off latrine duty, that is down to Chloe, who will have to find another slave to do it, or perhaps even do it herself, and I do not think that will happen given your cheeky attitude above. You could swap 1 day of cleaning for 6 lashes of the switch, is that fair?

    1. Typical 'free' woman. Wanting to beat a poor but hard working little slave like Emma.

Never mind Emma. I'll get you some baklava ....if you are really *lustful grin* nice to me.

    2. The mistress is kind and gentle for offering a mere slave such a choice. Alas, over the years I have developed an unfortunate allergic reaction to 6 lashes of the switch and so I will decline the kind offer of accepting such punishment in lieu of cleaning the toilets. *soft demure smile to the kind mistress*

    3. Thank you Master for your kind and considerate words! *hurries to curl by your feet and kiss them* I do work so hard and it is such a relief that kind masters like you appreciate my efforts. :)

    4. Tal slave 646,

I would hate you to have an allergic reaction to 6 lashes of the switch, do you have the same allergic reaction to work?

All I can suggest is that you clean the latrines and do your other work in addition.

  2. Tal All,

Do we put Saffia on cleaning the latrines, I know she is a Free Woman, but is a captive and therefore ought to be helping out with domestic duties.

Do we want to divide the books between the active members on here? Otherwise we might all do one book.

Slave 646 do you want to include Daughter of Gor, even though you did not write it?

    1. Tal Donna,

I think including Daughter of Gor is a worthy idea since it is acknowledged as really being Book zero of the ongoing Emma of Gor saga.

After our exchange regarding the identity of Ameena, I was thinking along the same lines as yourself of dividing the books among the volunteers, in order to avoid duplication of effort.

I will volunteer to scan through Kiera of Gor in my spare time. Hopefully, I can get better organized with my time in the days ahead.

    2. Tal Mick,

OK, I will wait for a bit and see what others want to do, then if no one else wants to I will do Daughter of Gor, provided Emma wants to include it

    3. Oh yes, Mistress. Definitely include Daughter of Gor. I'm also going to work on ambitious timeline (possibly in excel format) that covers everything that happens in these books along with the major events of the Norman book laid out in chronological order for easy reference.

  3. Emma,

Whilst you are thinking about this, you need to go back to the dictionary and amend the typos etc, also add Baklava and ta-la-na

  4. Tal emma,

Yasmina is looking good. My compliments to chloe. I recently did check up on your character's progress in the Tales of Gor RPG.

In order to expedite your work on the useful and much appreciated Anthology of Characters, I would be in favor of Donna's suggestion of transferring those duties to Saffia. This would prove to be valuable experience if she does indeed become kajira saffi and spends some time in the future as a household slave. This would be contingent upon the latrines cleaned to date passing inspection. Chloe, look into this and report back to us.

I'm not surprised Lady Saffia's robes of concealment were burned, having learned in the preview of their disgusting condition after six weeks of captivity. Chloe can give her a used work tunic at some point in the future if her efforts and attitude remain acceptable.

    1. I think that is a wonderful idea, Master - precisely the sort of inspirational thinking I have come to expect and appreciate from masters. They are so intuitive and clever. The Lady Saffia would, I am sure, quickly learn the domestic chores necessary to clean the latrines and other places, freeing up my own time for more important duties. You are such a clever master! *warm smile*

    2. This is why Free Women should be in charge of female slaves, the slave formerly known as Emma is trying it on

  5. Tal All,

I intend using Word and the table feature, 3 columns, Character name, book, comments e.g. Aurore, Daughter of Gor, Hero of book, then add them in as I find them and at end sort alphabetically. Do we post on here or can we email Emma?

  6. Tal All,

    I have completed the following
    Daughter of Gor
    Lady Marissa's Problem
    Warlords of Gor
    A Slave Girl's Revenge

I have some of Ubara of Gor and started Shadows of Gor

No doubt our tame barbarian slave will post what I have sent her so far in due course. I do not expect to finish before December.

    1. Tal Donna,

I was able to sort through Kiera of Gor sooner than anticipated and have forwarded the list to Emma.

    2. Tal Bella,

You do your chores very well. I am sure 1st girl Emma and acting 1st girl Chloe will commend you for your work here and you have made an impressive start to your new life.

Have a piece of Baklava or two as a reward but not too much as we need you to keep to your block measurements.
