Happy New Year from the Kurii
The Kurii of the Steel Worlds want to wish you pathetic Terran cattle a happy new year, and welcome you into the new decade of the twenties in which we will subjugate your polluted, filthy planet and make it ours.
Kim models a common red silk slave tunic in the Sardar
Tamlyn's Earth slave, the lovely Kim, models the typical non-work slave tunic you'll find on Brinn's estate, that is when first girl Chloe hasn't got all the kajirae dressed up like Taharian harem girls.

The Who's Who is now complete! (for now...)
I am very pleased to announce that the kind and gentle Lady Donna of Dover has completed the 'who's who' reference page for this blog that she and Master Mick began some months ago. I'm amazed at the amount of scholarly work she's delivered, reading through and cross referencing every single novel and story on this site, and it goes without saying that I am very, very grateful indeed.

The Last Christmas
The
Last Christmas
The Port of Schendi, Gor, 2024, five
days after Emma left on board the Larl of the Thassa
I grip the wrist of my right hand to
stop it from trembling but Tamlyn notices as he always does.
“You don’t have to hide that from
me, Marcellus. I won’t think any less of you.”
The spasms are getting worse as time
progresses and it’s all I can do to grimace, control the pain that
shoots through my nerves and wait for it to abate. I mouth some
obscenities and grit my teeth as the trembling begins to subside.
It’s ironic, or unfortunate, or something like that anyway. Never
did understand the actual meaning of the word 'irony'. Is it ironic
if you survive fighting a battle Kur only to die of a wasting
condition when you take the stabilisation serum that normally
prolongs a man’s life threefold? Alanis Morissette would probably
know.

Merry Christmas to all our lovely readers!
Just a quick reminder that with
Christmas almost upon us (yikes!) this wednesday will not sadly see a
new chapter of Ubara of Gor as Chloe and I will be taking our
seasonal break which in my case will hopefully include some baklava!
Vika's Lessons - a Gorean short story by Wyvern
Vika's
Lessons
by
Wyvern
Introduction by Emma: So, here's
another in the occasional series of Gorean short stories written by
people other than myself that I come across and (if I like them)
offer to give a home of sorts on this Blog. Vika's Lessons is written
by Wyvern who I came across on the Tavern Keeper RPG site where he
roleplays in the same Tales of Gor game as me.
The picture is a training picture
that ChloeK supplied recently which goes perfectly with what is
essentially a story of one hundred and seven days in the capture,
training and sale of a coffle of Earth barbarian girls. Thank you,
Wyvern for allowing me to publish this. :)
- Emma
Snow Maiden ChloeK wishes you a merry Christmas
ChloeK, my intrepid co-creator,
currently resides in the snow covered tundra that is Canada, and I
often speculate how her days must be, as she rides around the white
landscape in brass carved sledges pulled by armoured polar bears, or
gazing out at the Northern Lights from her Winterfell-like home as
she works diligently on art for the various stories I write.

Character concept art: Geralt of the Sardar
Some more recent character concept art
from the hard working ChloeK, in her arctic fortress deep in the ice
floes of Canada, where armoured bears from Svalbard no doubt travel
to on holiday. :)

Emma's mum...
So, I'm currently working on this year's Christmas
story from the point of view of Emma's father, the Gorean hero
Marcellus, that will jump from Christmas Eve/Day 1995 (when he left
his family to live on Gor permanently) to the present day/Ubara of
Gor era which acts as a foreshadow of the next book, Gods of Gor, as he prepares
his expedition into the jungles east of Schendi.

Ubara of Gor Chapter Fourteen
Chapter
Fourteen: The Strength of Free Women
“A free woman could hurt herself with
this,” said Yishana as she tapped the small kitchen knife that lay
on top of a stack of two crates on board the Larl. “Where did you
take it?”
“From the galley,” said Cassandra
as she stood there on deck between two of the Askaris who had brought
her to the Ubara when commanded to. Cassandra remained defiant in
spirit after several weeks on board ship, and had recently made a
clumsy attempt to steal a kitchen knife and conceal it under the
skirts of her robes, tied to her right thigh with a strip of binding
fibre. Sadly for her she was being watched constantly by kajirae and
one of them had reported swiftly to Naomi.

First Among Girls - a Chloe Short Story!
First
Among Girls
The first of a
trilogy of Chloe PoV short stories
Many months ago...
“An excellent vintage,” said the
slaver, Linus, as he tasted the goblet of wine offered to him by
Shannon. The girl knelt in nadu before the man in one of Master
Brinn's great halls in the Sardar foothills as she served from a
small engraved tray balanced on three copper legs to the side of the
table where Master Brinn sat entertaining the man. “One of the
things I look forward to when I visit your estate is to sample your
wine cellar. You never disappoint, Captain.”

Ubara of Gor Chapter Thirteen
Chapter
Thirteen: A Game of Slaves
Yishana was deep in slumber, her soft
body curled up next to mine on the deck of the Larl as we were maybe
ten minutes away from the first rays of dawn. Naomi, our first girl
was already up and was walking around the mast with the key to our
ankle fetters, for each night we slept secured to a coffle chain that
was in turn locked to the mast. No soft bed with rich furs and silken
sheets for Yishana last night, rather just the hard wooden boards and
some cheap hessian sack cloth for a covering. She slept with the
slaves you see, for she wore a collar now and was assumed to be a
slave. But her ordeal last night had worn her out to the point where
sleep came easy I think. I lay next to her, partly because I was used
to doing so often when I shared the couch bed in her cabin, but also
to look after her, for the proud pirate Queen was very much out of
her depth as a slave-girl. She dreamt delicious dreams no doubt for
her body twitched at times, her fingers grasped at thin air, and when
I touched them I could feel that her nipples were aroused. She dreamt
of men perhaps – strong men, men who knew how to treat Yishana, the
Ubara of the Black Coast, as but a common slave-girl. I listened to
her contented sigh as she dreamt, lost in her delicious fantasies and
oblivious to the harsh reality that awaited her when she would awake.

Ubara of Gor Chapter Twelve
Chapter
Twelve: Yishana plays a very dangerous game indeed...
“I think we need to cut your hair,
Mistress,” I said as I undid her long braid and let her dark mane
fall free around her shoulders. “Just a little. It is very long.”
We stood in a small abandoned room above the notorious Wharf of
Chains close to the thriving working docks of the island city of
Asperiche. I suspected the closest Yishana had got to a hair cut in
the recent past was to trim the ends periodically. It was glossy and
in good condition, but when fully unbraided it hung to her lower
back.

The Inn on the Borderland - my licensed Gor book!
So, I actually have an official
licensed Gor publication published today that I hope a few of you
will support by buying in either pdf or print form.
Yes, official, licensed – 'approved'
by John Norman, though I doubt he'll ever actually read it!
A few words of explanation then...

Ubara of Gor Chapter Eleven
Chapter
Eleven: Cassandra
I suddenly knew what it felt like to
have all my Christmases come at once, for there she stood in her fine
gowns and sequinned slippers with all those haughty airs I remembered
only too well: the bitch queen herself, Brinn's little shit of a
sister.

Character concept art for 'Beware the Savage Jaw'
Chloe has been beavering away with
various bits of concept art recently, along with some training scenes
that I need to put together properly in a post.
Here are a couple of character concept
designs for two of the female characters appearing in the upcoming
Rachel Evans novel, 'Beware the Savage Jaw'.

Coming soon: First Among Girls
In the 'coming up soon' category,
here's the cover art for a short story that Chloe is currently
illustrating which will be released once the art is ready.
The point of view star of it is none
other than Chloe herself who at long last gets her own tale without
Emma taking over and bossing everyone about. :)

Ubara of Gor Chapter Ten
Chapter
Ten: Yishana nearly kills me. Several times in fact.
Unless you are a slave yourself you
will probably not understand how effective a punishment 'close
chains' at night can be. Close chains is simply the chaining of a
slave's wrists and ankles with typically one to three steel links
between the wrist and ankle cuffs. If that sounds a very passive
punishment then you have never felt the effects of being chained like
that for eight to ten hours and you can consider yourself fortunate.

Ubara of Gor Chapter Nine
Chapter
Nine: Before Sunrise
Narrated from Bea Anderson's
Point of View:
(Author note: this chapter
references Bea's pov short story, 'The Last Halloween')
It's the single thought that's been
running through my head all afternoon – am I going to sleep with
Simon of the Sardar? And the answer is, I don't know – I really
don't know. I'm impulsive. I've always been impulsive in life and I
think that's one of the defining things that makes Bea Anderson the
woman she is today, and there I go, thinking of myself in the third
person which is a sign of how mixed up I must be these days. But the
truth is I find Simon attractive, funny, pleasantly attentive, and
he's the first Earth Man I've met since I was abducted to Gor nearly
seven years ago. So yes, of course I didn't want him to simply
conduct his business and leave. If nothing else we have a connection
through our home planet that I'd like to explore.

Ubara of Gor Chapter Eight
Chapter
Eight: Sisters of Mercy
“This feels right, Emma. It feels
like the natural order of things – the way nature intended.”
Simon was walking me through the dusty,
hot, dry streets of Schendi towards a slaver house with which Yishana
routinely did business in these waters. I walked barefoot three paces
ahead of Simon, clad in my usual white loin cloth and carrying a
large backpack strapped to my shoulders. It was mostly empty now but
I knew that on the way back it would be loaded with steel collars and
various other items Simon had been sent to purchase.

Ubara of Gor Chapter Seven
Chapter
Seven: The Kamba river
The Larl of the Thassa sailed slowly
down the Kamba river with its depleted crew. We had lost twenty seven
Askaris that bloody night in the settlement whose name I still didn’t
know and probably never would. It was a place of ruins now, bleak
fire charred foundations overlooking a harbour blocked with sunken
fishing boats. In the end Yishana had relented on her orders to kill
every man woman and child who did not have time to flee. The men were
killed wholesale, but the women and children were spared when her
rage had simmered to a low boil. I played some part in that for I
begged her to spare the women and children. I knew the men were
beyond my help and so I couched my appeal simply in terms of what she
might agree to. And why did she agree? I think she understood that it
was my early warning that had saved us. That night could easily have
played out a very different way with Yishana and her men trapped in
the tavern as bales of straw set it alight.

Chloe discusses southern slave garments
Good morning, kind masters and
mistresses, it's first girl Chloe again, with another of my catwalk
displays of Gorean slave garments. This week we're going far south to
the lands that border terra incognito where bold explorers have yet
to venture past. These are the lands of Turia, the wagon people, and
of course my beloved Tahari.

Ubara of Gor Chapter Six
Chapter
Six: The wages of fear
“A bottle of wine! Make it the
finest! Make it a cup for a sea larl's thirst!” cried Yishana as
she smote the table with the empty goblet in her left hand to the
encouraging cheers of her Askaris. “Are there true men in this
hall?” She rose to her feet, swaying a little from a cocktail of
ka-la-na and some drugs she laced the wine with and stared at her
roaring Askaris with pride as they shouted back that true men were
gathered here tonight in abundance. “YES! You are the savage larls
of the ocean and I salute you all for you are MY savage sea larls!”
She thumped her balled right fist against her left shoulder in
appreciation the way men did.

Ubara of Gor Chapter Five
Chapter
Five: The Exchange
“The island of Cos has sent a lot of
men, Mistress,” I said as I gazed out past the harbour inlet to the
sight of the great Cosian warship. Although by tradition and the
rules of the Bastion each party to the ransom was only permitted to
assemble 23 men with weapons on the landing jetty of the main isle,
Captain Matias Thiago Alejandra of Telnus, Third Sword to the city
and Sea Admiral of the Second Fleet of Cos, had decided to make a
show of force on board his vessel as it lay anchored at sea facing
the Bastion. There were maybe three hundred professional warriors of
Cos formed up in ranks with shields, crested helms and glittering
spear tips. The ship was fitted out with engines of war – ballistae
and catapults on the various decks, and a shearing blade that might
cripple an enemy vessel by breaking its oars upon contact. I had been
told by Tijani that the ship was called the Vengeance.

Ubara of Gor Chapter Four
Chapter
Four: The Bastion
“Lady Yishana, it is such a pleasure
to see you again. You and your... fifty heavily armed Askaris...”
Grigor Sanson, the self proclaimed 'Ubar' of the Bastion, smiled and
bowed in greeting as he met us halfway along the the wave soaked
causeway that led from the narrow harbour front to the high rock that
formed the base of the Bastion. As a defensive position it had many
advantages, not least of all the imposing vertical height of the
island's cliffs. An army could only ascend it by a series of wide
stone steps that centuries ago had been hewn from the rock itself.
Aerial assault by tarns would be difficult as the Bastion was located
far out to sea in the southern Thassa territorial waters, maybe
twenty pasangs from the shores of the Black Ubardoms and as is
commonly known, tarns – those mighty war birds of Gor – are
loathe to fly out over the Thassa once they lose sight of land.
Controlling them in such circumstances is next to impossible, though
it is said that Tarl Cabot (him again!) came up with an interesting
way to utilise tarns in naval combat at the great sea battle that
took place between the armadas of Cos and Tyros against the fleets of
Kar on the 25th of Se'Kara, over 50 years ago.

Ubara of Gor Chapter Three
Chapter
Three: Our ship is becalmed. I witness Kerim Shah's true 'sorcery'
for the first time
“It’s good to have a man in my
bed,” said Yishana as she lay there on her stomach, her lower legs
raised and crossed together at the ankles as she cupped her chin in
one hand and gazed up at Simon who knelt in the soft furs before her.
I knelt close by, painting my nails carefully with sky blue polish as
Yishana stroked Simon’s thigh. As always she seemed amused by the
reaction in Simon’s face as his pierced and trapped penis tried to
rise unsuccessfully.

ADIRA by Sarah Holloway
An Introduction by Emma of London:
Considering the vast wealth of detailed
and factual Gorean websites to be found on the Internet, it's
surprising that there's actually so little creative story writing set
in John Norman's universe. When you do find something, it is often a
short stand alone scene, usually of a simple sexual nature. Before
Olga came along with 'Daughter of Gor' there really wasn't much out
there with a well crafted narrative, which is one of the reasons I
used to create my own stories through the medium of roleplay games in
Gorean themed chat rooms.

Chloe discusses camisks
Good morning and Tal, kind masters and
mistresses. Today we're in one of the sun-lit courtyards of master
Brinn's estate where he sometimes trains with his sword against
practice wooden dummies and then with his handsome captains – men
like Finnian and, *blushes a little in a coy way* Geralt. You'd be
surprised how many slave girls find the opportunity to gather and
watch from the sides as these big muscled men sweat it out in combat
with one another. :)

Yishana's Askaris
A design by Chloe of the fighting men
aboard the Larl of the Thassa.
Yishana tends to have somewhere in the
region of 150 Askaris aboard the ship at any one time, and they are
recruited from the dark jungle interior slightly north of Schendi.
This area of the jungle has tribes that worship the Goddess Nakeisha,
the wind rider, amongst other tribal Gods, and few of them have ever
heard of the Priest Kings.

Ubara of Gor Chapter Two
Chapter
Two: Kerim Shah
Yishana, the proud, savage, Ubara of
the Black Coast, chosen Avatar of Nakeisha wind-rider, lay supine,
asleep, on her soft furred couch. In her sleep she sighed softly. She
seemed content and not nearly as savage as I had seen her that first
day six months before when she had led her Askaris onto the deck of
the Carcassonne to wash the boards with our blood.

Ubara of Gor begins tomorrow!
Over a year late (my fault entirely)
but it looks like Chloe has given the go ahead that she's likely to
be ready with art for us to begin serialising the next full blown
Emma novel from this Wednesday coming, barring any unfortunate
problems arising like someone suddenly notifying her of a Taharian
cosplay/dance festival held nearby...

A Character 'Who's Who' (work in progress)
Emma
of Gor Anthology
A work in progress reference guide to
the multitude of characters populating the various novels, novellas
and short stories on this blog. Beware! There may be spoilers if
you've not read all the books!
The House on Bear Crag isle
So, I thought I'd share some of the
images from the various graphics packages Chloe will be using for her
pictures for the upcoming Rachel serial. These packages are
essentially pre-rendered settings that you can place your characters
into to create scenes. They're all fully 3D rotational so you can
create art from any cinematic angle.
Chloe discusses varieties of slave collars
Greetings, kind masters and gentle
mistresses, it's Chloe again, with another parade of slaves (and a
captive free woman who frankly resembles a slave), this time
modelling the three main collars you will see referenced in our
stories.
Tuesday, 10 September 2019
Coming soon: 'Beware the savage jaw...'
So, I'm in a position now to describe
what the next 'non-Emma' novel is going to be (serialised in between
the imminent 'Ubara of Gor' book chapters). I have several such books
in various stages of planning and development, but the one that is
most ready to be foisted on you is...
Chloe discusses dancing silks
Today, I thought I'd show you some of
the dancing silks we use on the estate of Master Brinn, and this time
around I'm giving the Lady Saffia a chance to relax and hide in her
sumptuous cage (it has a pillow! And a soft throw! I think she's
being spoilt a bit...) and bringing out our favourite blonde
barbarian, slave 646 as the kind and gentle Mistress Donna has chosen
to call her for the time being.
Friday, 6 September 2019
Putting together a Gorean character 'who's who'
It is high time I think that I put
together a who's who of characters in the Emma of Gor novels and
short stories as the world I've built up in and around John Norman's
own work has now taken on an immense life of its own and may seem
daunting to new readers who don't necessarily know who everyone is.

Chloe demonstrates the iron belt
Greetings again, kind, masters and
mistresses. It's Chloe, first girl on the Sardar estate of the Master
Brinn, and I'm sure you recognise the precious free woman standing
next to me in snugly fitting wrist bracelets.

Chloe discusses slave gags, and collar and bracelet sizes
Greetings kind masters and mistresses.
It's Chloe again. First girl on the estate of Master Brinn of the Sardar.

Chloe demonstrates the sirik chain system
Welcome back kind masters and
mistresses. I am of course Chloe, first girl on the estate of Brinn
of the Sardar, and I hope you've enjoyed the refreshments served to
you by Cat and Emma today. Please understand that Cat has had little
training to date and she is trying her best. She does want to be
pleasing. She's just finding things difficult as any new girl does at
first. Please do not judge her serves to the high standards of Emma.
And yes, Emma, we know you graduated from the slave pens of Banu
Hashim *rolls my eyes and sighs*

Slave garments (tunics) - a fashion show
Tal kind masters and mistresses, it's
Chloe here, first girl on the estate of Brinn of the Sardar.
I'm putting together a series of
pictures illustrating typical slave garments and have rounded up four
lovely, ahem, 'volunteers' to model the first set of garments for
your viewing pleasure. These are all designed by myself and are
specific to the estate Master Brinn owns. From left to right then:

Inspiration
One of the main inspirations for
writing a Panther Girl novel (I don't really count 'Panther Girl of
Gor' as that was only nominally involving the panther girls) is a
series of pictures that used to exist on the Deviant Art site by
'tasastock'.
Friday, 23 August 2019
A work in progress
I tend to keep notebooks full of things
that I may or may not develop, but one of the things that is taking
shape and you may see sometime soon is a novel set around a Panther
Girl tribe in the northern forests.
The Slave World (34) - the final chapter!
(34):
Rage against the dying of the light
With the first gunshot the field in the
New Forest erupted into chaos. Andromedus was dead, just like that
and he never saw it coming. To their credit the Goreans reacted
quickly. One man snapped the safety off his weapon and sprayed
semi-automatic fire in the rough direction of the rifle shot. As he
did so another man screamed and was flung backwards as a second rifle
shot shattered his right shoulder.
Thursday, 22 August 2019
The Slave World (33)
(33):
Like the mating of the earth and air
I was numb with shock. I had been
caged, brutally raped and now I was going to be shipped to Gor as
human livestock. And Adam, the man I now knew I loved, had been
beaten to within an inch of his life in an attempt to protect me.
Wednesday, 21 August 2019
The Slave World (32)
(32):
Broken
“Are you hungry?” asked Andromedus.
I had been in the cage now for over twenty four hours, which meant I
had probably not eaten in close to thirty six hours. He had a
cardboard box of pizza in one hand as he crouched beside my cage.
“Yes,” I said as I knelt with my
head bowed slightly due to the restrictive height of the cage.

Caitlin in the House of Three Moons
Despite her well earned summer break
riding wild polar bears across Canada, Chloe couldn't resist trying her
hand at an illustration for the current Slave World novel. She's
called it an imaginary scene of Caitlin being auctioned, but I think
it works very well as a scene from her overnight visit to the House
of Three Moons many chapters ago. One of the Kur slavers puts her
through her slave paces before an appreciative audience.
